With approximately 130.000 students annually, Vienna is the largest German-speaking university town.
Unsurprisingly, this makes Vienna a great place to spend one’s student days. And therefore, a large number of international students, ranging from those who stay the whole duration of their program to those who visit for an exchange semester (via Erasmus, JointStudy, Fulbright, etc.), can be found living and studying in the city.
Whether you fall under the former or the latter, one of the first (and arguably most important) ports of call after arriving in Vienna will be the International Students Office of your chosen university.
